Some of our Year 6 pupils at St Cuthbert’s Catholic Primary School were given an unforgettable opportunity to take part in a football tournament at the Riverside Stadium.
Playing on a Professional Stage
The children were thrilled to experience walking through the players’ tunnel and stepping out onto the pitch — a moment that made the day extra special and one they will remember for years to come.
Outstanding Team Performance
On the field, our pupils were exceptional. They played with great teamwork, determination and resilience, especially in challenging weather conditions. Across their matches, they:
- Played 4 games
- Won 3 matches
- Drew 1 match
- Conceded just one goal
Their performance demonstrated both skill and a fantastic team spirit.
Proud Representation
