Growing Responsibility and Respect for Nature
St Cuthbert’s KS1 Gardening Club has been busy caring for the school environment and learning about the importance of stewardship.
Through hands-on activities, pupils have been:
- Planting seeds and nurturing new growth
- Watering and maintaining garden areas
- Taking responsibility for their shared space
Learning Together
Working as a team, the children demonstrated:
- Excellent cooperation and teamwork
- Kindness and willingness to help one another
- Respect for nature and the world around them
These experiences are helping pupils grow not only plants, but also their confidence, responsibility, and understanding of caring for God’s creation.
Looking Ahead
The school looks forward to seeing the garden continue to flourish as the children nurture it — a perfect reflection of how the pupils themselves are growing and thriving.
